Political humor of the day
MAD Magazine speculates on what will happen when a baseball team (the "Washington Nationals") returns to Washington, D.C. Here are some of the things they expect :
- All ballpark food concessions will be awarded to Halliburton on a no-bid basis; hot dogs are now going for $85 a piece
- The entire team will win an unprecedented nine Gold Gloves, simply by refusing to admit they ever made an error
- As soon as they take a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, the manager will call "time out" and announce "Mission Accomplished"
