Defenders of evil
Travis Wilkerson writes about another massacre that took place nearly 150 years ago - the massacre of an estimated 200 Native Americans at Sand Creek. The whole article is quite interesting, especially if, like me, this is an atrocity you aren't familiar with, but I want to quote the closing paragraph, which speaks to the nature of those who defend such atrocities, be they Sand Creek or Gaza:
Like those who once defended Sand Creek, defenders of the Gaza massacre should be exposed to all for what they are: racist apologists of whole-scale barbarism, aiding and abetting an indefensible, criminal explosion of violence. These defenders include the entire political leadership of the U.S. government. History will not judge them merely as fools.
