Political Humor of the Day


The State Department praised Colombian President Alvaro Uribe for the release of two hostages by a guerrilla group Friday Thursday, but barely acknowledged the role of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez."(Source)
Uribe, of course, is the one who did his absolute best to scuttle the release by interfering with Chavez' role in the negotiations.

By the way, less than a week ago the headlines in the same paper read:
