One more indication that U.S. troops don't belong in Iraq
In today's news, two American soldiers have been charged with premeditated murder and planting weapons on dead Iraqis. But here's what struck me about that - the second part of that isn't just a description of what they did, it's an actual crime:
Sergeant Hensley, 27, from Candler, N.C., faces three charges of premeditated murder, obstruction of justice and wrongfully placing weapons with the remains of deceased Iraqis. When "wrongfully placing weapons with the remains of deceased Iraqis" is an actual crime, it's safe to say that something is very seriously wrong with the situation.
