I've just watched (for the second or third time, it's in high rotation) Dr. Sanjay Gupta and some health industry spokesperson on CNN "fact-checking" Michael Moore's "Sicko," and for the second or third time, my jaw dropped when one of the "facts" being exposed as untrue was that Moore talks about "free health care" in other countries when in fact it isn't free at all but - hold your surprise - is paid for by taxes! Does Gupta really not understanding that the "free" in "free health care" refers to what the consumer pays, not to what society pays? What's next? His revelation that free public education isn't free? Letting us know that "Buy one, get one free" is just a scam, and all it really means is you're paying half price for two items?

Gheesh.
