Arggggh!!!!
I was in a supermarket recently. The woman in front of me at the checkout line was purchasing a bunch of six-packs of water, bottled in plastic. Each one was dutifully scanned by the checker and then placed in its own, individual plastic bag and then into her cart.
Argggggh!!! I can't stand it!
Is there any doubt that Americans use way too much of the Earth's resources?
Update: Oops, I forgot one more plastic bit - the plastic rings that hold the six-packs together. You know, the ones that kill seabirds if you don't cut them apart, and deplete the Earth's resources in either case.
