The persecution and assassination of Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Baghdad

...Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade George W. Bush

(Sorry, Blogger doesn't allow sufficiently long post titles!)

Many people in the "civilized" world are horrified by the carrying out of a death sentence against Saddam Hussein. They seem to have collectively forgotten that the invasion of Iraq began with a whole series of "decapitation strikes" aimed at carrying out precisely the same sentence, without even the benefit of a rigged trial (except in the pages and on the airwaves of the corporate media).

Death from a few feet above? Barbaric. Death from thousands of feet above, or from hundreds of miles away? "Shock and awe." "Decapitation strikes." "Civilized behavior."

Executing someone after an outrageously unfair trial? "Justice." Executing a bunch of people after another series of (allegedly unfair) trials? Grounds for being executed for murder.

Why stop here? There's more...
