"Opposition" to the war


Paul Krugman has a column today about "those who warned against invading Iraq," and how they should be praised for "getting it right." But his choice of praisees makes for rather interesting reading. Because their pre-war statements all fell along the same lines. Some examples:Of the nine people praised by Krugman, not a single one - not one - actually voiced a principled opposition to the war. These are the people who are widely described in the media as "antiwar."
