Iran-y
That's irony applied to Iran. A few posts below this one, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei explained why Iran's nuclear power program was aimed at avoiding having to "beg certain Western or European countries to meet their energy demands" 20 years in the future. And, timed perfectly to provide support for Khamenei's justification, today we get the proposal being made by the West to Iran, which includes "a proposal to allow Iran to upgrade its aging civilian air fleet through the purchase of aircraft parts from a U.S. company, Boeing."
Fool me once, etc. (see George Bush for the rest of the quote).
